Tanner was so incredible to coordinate with and he truly understood our vision and did everything to bring it to life.

Alec, Henry and Lizzy were all so dedicated to their work on the day of our wedding - watching them do anything possible to get the perfect shot was absolutely amazing!

We were a bit nervous about booking a wedding photographer/videographer since it is such an important decision, but after seeing Scarlet Oak Studio’s fantastic reviews, we decided to take a chance—and we’re so glad we did! From the very beginning, they exceeded our expectations. Tanner was our lead, and he was incredible to work with. He communicated with us every step of the way, stayed super organized, and made sure we felt comfortable and relaxed. He helped us choose which package best fit our needs - we ended up doing the biggest package since we wanted them all day and night, the lighting package, and more shooters.

I also had them do my bridal portraits which I did up at the Tulip Festival. The day of the portraits it started to snow (in May!) and even though I was freaking out, Tanner and his team made me feel at ease. The skies ended up clearing up right as we went to take the photos AND we had the whole place to ourselves!

On the big day, Tanner and the team captured every moment so beautifully that we could just focus on enjoying our time with each other and our guests. We were absolutely blown away by the results! If you’re looking for a team that truly cares and delivers stunning photos and video, we can’t recommend Scarlet Oak Studio enough!

Booking Scarlet Oak Studios was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Everything from start to finish was absolutely amazing. Communication was phenomenal and everyone we spoke to and dealt with, primarily Tanner and Elli, were so kind and fun to work with.

The effort they put into capturing the magic of our day and making our day exactly what we wanted was superb. We had three extensive pre wedding calls where they helped us go over all the important details and were super easy to get a hold of for questions and concerns.

Our wedding was themed—Dungeons and Dragons—and they made our highlight real look like the trailer to a movie! Some of them even showed up dressed in theme and they were so so passionate about everything we were doing. I stopped thinking of them as “just the photographers” and started viewing them as VIPs on our guest lists making the magic of our wedding a reality.

They were great at working with our mischievous puppy and all the personalities and quirks in our families.

And best for last, Tanner literally helped save our wedding. When our original venue canceled 2 months before our scheduled date, he helped us locate the actual castle we go married in. I literally couldn’t ask for more. And the final product, delivered a whole 2 months earlier than we expected was well worth every penny.

We were parents paying for our first wedding and were trying to plan from out of state. We appreciated all of the positive google reviews for Scarlet Oak Studio, so booked them without knowing anyone who had used them before. A risk that paid off!

We had them join us for temple pictures, the wedding dinner, the ring ceremony and reception. Dalton and his assistant did a wonderful job helping us move quickly through the chaos of different family group shots and took gorgeous photos of my daughter and new son-in-law together for bride and groom photos. The candids they took at the reception really captured the warmth and happiness with family and guests shared during the event, and he caught all of the relevent moments of our events so beautifully. He really knows how to work with the light, both for our afternoon Fall weather outdoor photos and our darker, more intimate evening reception pictures. We couldn't be happier with our photos and the lovely way we can now look back on and reflect on this momentous day for both of our families.

Where do I even begin? Scarlet Oak Studio was such a wonderful team to work with for our elopement this past June. After our first phone conversation with Tanner, we knew they were who we wanted to work with. Tanner made us feel so comfortable, like we had known each other forever. So easy to talk to about what we envisioned for our special day.

With us having an elopement ceremony as opposed to a traditional wedding, and in a different state (that we had never been to), we wanted to make sure we chose a team that would be able to see our vision and make it come to life without us being physically present. Amanda, Nikki and Madison did just that. We trusted them to guide us through Arches National Park to make our vision come to life and they did not disappoint!

These kind and talented ladies made our day nothing short of memorable from start to finish. With it being an elopement, we had no family or friends in town with us so these ladies even made a special trip to our airbnb to help me button up the back of my dress. My husband and I did a first look at our location so he couldn’t see me which meant they also had to drive me to the location. When I asked them about this in initial conversations, there was no hesitation on their end. They went above and beyond for us and we will be forever grateful for their help and generosity!

Throughout the day, we laughed constantly and everything felt so natural (as we both get pretty shy behind the camera). These ladies allowed us to be who we are without judgment and supported us the entire day. They were our hype girls!! And since we didn’t have family with us, they honestly felt like our family for the day!

We received our photos and videos back about 2.5 months after our wedding day which is what they promised so we appreciate that. Our photos and video came back amazing and truly exceeded our expectations.

We would HIGHLY recommend this team of amazing individuals for your wedding day! Worth every single penny!!
