Nik is the best!! He did the photography for our wedding in Gualala, CA and knocked it out of the park. He helped my partner and I to feel relaxed and did a great job of blending in with everyone and capturing the event exactly as it felt with lots of candids. He even took some film photos too! We are so pleased with his work and would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the area.

Nik was wonderful, and his work is amazing. Nik is a kind and gentle man who wove his way gracefully among our family as we prepared for our ceremony and during it. He captured beautiful candid expressions and gestures as well as lovely posed images. We love his use of natural light as well as nature — we were at a beach with redwoods, and he utilized it all. I'm leaving this review a tad late (sorry Nik), but we were just looking at the proposal/engagement photos he took for my wife and I in February 2023 in mendocino and we are still awestruck!

I contacted Nik to shoot my surprise proposal and he immediately understood the desired look and energy for the moment. He was super responsive, intuitive, and flexible. His knowledge of the Mendocino area is deep and he was a wealth of knowledge in planning the event. He is also just a very nice person and fun to work with.

My wife and I love the photos so much and we would highly recommend Nik to anyone.

Nik is a truly gifted photographer and a wonderful person and I am so grateful he was there to photograph our wedding in the redwoods. Throughout the whole process he was easy to communicate with, quick to get back to us, and just incredibly fun and reassuring to be around. I generally hate being photographed and I can't believe how easy it was to feel comfortable with Nik and how his infectious calm helped me get my nerves under control. We had over 200 guests and somehow it seems like we ended up with a picture of everyone without even specifically asking for that. With such a big, fairly free-form event there were so many things going on at once and our photos really seem to document it all. The photos themselves are gorgeous, I'm still in awe of how he captured the natural beauty and the love in the air during our day!
