I went in saturday night to check myself if i was in labor.. The nurses and people who attended me were very nice! Went into the labor / delivery everyone attended me nice don’t really remember the names but I had a nurse practitioner named Alyssa and she was the sweetest and helped me the whole delivery. The labor crew did all they can to help me push through! Everything went smoothly. Glad I had the support from them! Thank you! God bless them!

I'm sure this is not the first bad review but I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this hospital nor the Texas Medical Center location. They have a very limited amount of good nurses and doctors that actually care. My dad went to the hospital in September and died October 16. First of all there was a lot of negligence from all his surgeons who took 7 months to schedule a surgery for my dad that he desperately needed for a long time that he didn't get to make it. In this location the nurses he had were not nice and made him feel like a burden. I once asked I can speak with them through the phone and they said NO and did not want to speak with me. After he kept getting worse. He went in to the hospital and came out much worse. When he passed away my mom woke up to the lights on and no notice that he had passed away. The nurses were simply staring at my father and my mom had to wake herself up. You would think if your loved one passed away or is in critical condition they would let you know immediately. My dad had so much hope in this hospital chain and never wanted to try alternative hospitals as much as we begged and their negligence had severe consequences. I just hope they improve their personnel that you can tell only care about a paycheck.

This hospital is the WORST I have ever been to. I got there at 9pm on 7/15. I have Covid and I am also having chest pain I got Checked in and waited 3hr before I got blood taken after that I kept getting moved around at 5am on 7/16 I was taken to the back when I was finally registered at 7am I doctor came and talk to me for the first time since I got to the er and told me nothing was wrong with me just go home and take some cough medicine. I would not recommend anyone to come to this hospital it is very dirty and the staff that works there is very unprofessional I have recording of nurses talking about patients and joking around. I will also be reporting this to the news so people can really see what’s going on here.

Went here and was asked to give a urine sample the picture attached is the bathroom they asked me to use , mind you I had seen multiple people go in and out before me so they were actually having people use this restroom like this. They had people sitting in the hallway holding their IV bags in their hands while receiving their fluids , they roll around those computers on a cart with PII of the patients on the screen for the world to see , they have you check in and ask you your personal info in the middle of the hall way where everyone can hear (including your SSN) when they are filling out there information on the computer the lady was just entering in whatever she thought the answers were I had to stop and correct her multiple times! The lady who came around for insurance said she couldnt find my insurance and will just have too self bill me(she could have just looked it up) , when I asked for a different bathroom the lady started laughing and said oh yeah let me get someone to clean that , the housekeeping came down and wasn’t in that bathroom 5 minutes. There are so many HIPPA and OSHA violations in this hospital it’s disgusting, the way they have it set up while you are getting your blood drawn you can look right across and see the person across from you and all their information on the computer they have the privacy curtain tucked behind the cart and aren’t protecting patient privacy AT ALL !! Again picture attached for reference when I was getting my blood drawn I seen the lady in front of me whole medical chart !! And the whole conversation her and the nurse was having …….. needless too say if you value your privacy and want to be treated in a clean and sterile environment stay away from memorial Herman there is a reason they have so many 1 star reviews it’s not an exaggeration and to top it off I work at a debt collection agency and this hospital is the number one hospital I get with disputes for improper billing and patients refusing to pay because they were either treated poorly or lied too about the billing and services being provided STAY AWAY FROM HERE !

I probably shouldn’t give two stars but there’s a positive side to this story. I came from my doctors office to be admitted for surgery through the ER was left sitting for 5 hrs waiting on a bed was freezing cold. Now let me tell the positive once going through hell in dungeon and getting a bed my experience is good nurses are very helpful and they take care of you.I think there’s got to be a better way to be admitted.

My husband went there with chest pain and got in a room 3 hours later. Since I am an ER nurse I already know that is not safe not on a monitor and then when I went to visit him after my own shift.he was on a heparin drip and would most likely have a heart cath the next day. His night shift nurse poked his head in never walked in and checked his pump. Never walked in to check his vitals. Before that a girl who appeared to mimic a nurse leader said he had a room at 730 . I went to find his nurse and he said yes he does but I’m busy and I will do that after I go to another room. At the time I left at 930, he hadn’t come back in. When I got home still no room. I will be reporting
G this event as it is a safety issue. I wouldn’t take my dog there

The awful experience with this Memorial Hermann location just keeps getting worse.

We took our child to the ER for breathing concerns. While there, he got decent care from the staff. However, the hospital is disgusting. There was vomit covering the floors of the public restrooms and there was blood on the hospital bed that my child was placed in. We did let the staff know of both issues. In addition, we were there for quite a while after getting treatment waiting for a doctor (as per the nurse practitioner), just to be re-visited by the nurse practitioner hours later that there's no reason for us to see a doctor and we should go ahead and leave.

I wasn't going to leave a review like this (I left a private one about the cleanliness of the blood stained bed). However, the billing department is the icing on the cake here. I set up a payment plan for the services rendered since our early-May visit. Money has been automatically deducted out of my account every month. I recently received a letter from the hospital stating that my account is outstanding and threatening to send me to collections. When I called the number on this letter, they let me know that although they do see that I've been making payments, the hospital and the payment portal do not "talk" to one another and the hospital has no record of my payments. She then proceeds to tell me that it was my responsibility to call the hospital and notify them that I've set up a payment plan after using THEIR online payment portal to set up said plan.
