The photo session with Mr. James was a positive experience, particularly during a large family session for Christmas. Traveling from Illinois to Apollo Beach for the first time, the family found Mr. James to be not only a skilled photographer but also a helpful guide, offering recommendations for food and entertainment in the area. Despite challenges with a toddler who was uncooperative that day, Mr. James displayed patience and effectively engaged with family members, helping to create a relaxed atmosphere that resulted in quality photographs. Overall, the decision to choose Mr. James for family photos proved to be a satisfactory one. If we return to the Apollo Beach area and need quality photos, I would highly consider choosing Mr. James again. Very satisfied with the outcome of the session overall.

I had scheduled my twins' 1st birthday event photoshoot with King. He is great to work with and a pro. He was very friendly and able to get everyone - our twins and guests - to be at ease around the camera. He captured so many candid moments of the event. I scheduled our daughter’s senior photo shoot with King on the recommendation of our niece. I can highly recommend his services. Our daughter had never had professional photos taken so she was nervous and had no idea how to interact with the camera. King was able to get her to open up and move more freely as the hour went on. Her pictures were taken in a park she played in as a small child and on the beach where she grew up. His ability to spot the perfect shot was uncanny. He got photos of a plane turning over her head, birds flying between her upraised hands and her spotting dolphins playing off shore. He captured her many faces and personality traits in the short span of time. We are very pleased with the gallery. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself and/or your family to a session with King. He is very professional, easy to work with, and creative. We will be utilizing his services again in the future.

As a wedding officiant, I had the pleasure of meeting and working with King for a beach destination (the couple are Canadians) wedding. It was a crazy, blustery day on the beach but King was a total pro, taking time before the ceremony, to go over my normal movements and special moments that the couple had planned. Afterwards, he even prepared - less than a week later - a small gallery of ceremony moments just for me, emailing me a link and permission to use. The photos were fabulous! I can't wait to work with Journeys Photography 941 again!

I can not recommend King enough! We did a 30-minute family session, and he was able to get so many great images. Even though our toddler was sick and grumpy, you couldn't tell from the photos! He was great with him, making him laugh and being flexible when he wasn't cooperative. The session felt more like a fun outting than an overly-posed photo session. We had only intended on buying a couple of photos for a Christmas card, but loved the entire gallery so much we could not choose and opted to get every photo! He was quick to respond and booking was a breeze. He arrived on time, and had great spots picked out to get the vibe we wanted. We will definitely use him again.
