It’s hard to even put into words how joyful an experience working with Nikki & her team was for our wedding in April 2022. From our engagement photos at the Biltmore, my bridal session, wedding photography planning and then the actual shots captured on wedding day, Nikki over delivered beyond what I could imagine our photos to be. What immediately drew us to hire her was her use of both digital & film, and that she was able to capture amazing indoor shots of our venue, which was very dark wood on the interior. She captured our personal style, which can be a bit shy and composed, in a beautiful way. I will also add that her photography is very versatile and I’ve noticed she doesn’t stick to one particular “look”, which is difficult to do! Logistically, working with her was very easy and our photos were always delivered in a speedy manner. I would definitely hire Nikki again if I had to plan my wedding all over. One of our hardest decisions in newlywed life is narrowing down all of our amazing shots into a photo album!

I highly recommend Nikki and Fancy This Photography, especially if you're looking for a wedding photographer! We had an engagement session with her before our October 2023 wedding, and we had such a great time getting to know her during that session! She has such a great eye for finding the perfect lighting and locations, and we were absolutely blown away with our engagement pictures!
She was so professional leading up to the wedding and helping us plan our timeline around pictures. She even went to our venue ahead of time to get some ideas for photos and helped us figure out where we wanted to do our first look. On the day, Nikki and her second shooter Sarah were absolutely fantastic, making sure we got all of the pictures we wanted and getting some amazing candid photos of us and our guests! We got our sneak peeks back so fast, and we got the full album well within the timeline she gave us! I constantly look back at all of our photos because I can't believe how beautiful they are and how much they capture the love we felt on our wedding day!

I was immediately drawn to the romantic photos from Fancy This. Everyone wants their wedding memories captured through the lens of a romantic, special and fun vibe. If you are looking for a team that is going to capture your once in a lifetime memories while also contributing to the fun on your wedding day then look no further. Sarah was our photographer for our engagement photos, she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and caught genuine moments of love. She joined us again on our New Years Eve wedding celebration and she felt like a friend making us laugh and keeping us focused on being present and enjoying the wedding rather than feeling like we were just going through the motions or adhering to a timeline. She knew I had wanted a disco ball element and surprised me the day of, our team made sure we had water and extra hands for our pups who were very much included in the day and the photos. They treated our family and friends with kindness and an energy to make them feel confident in photos. They carried my bouquet when it started to get heavy and made sure to stick it in water to keep it looking the freshest. They did more than take photos of us and for that I'm very grateful. There is a lot of pressure to make sure everything is perfect for your wedding, but now after reflection the only thing that you need to absolutely get right is your photographer. Making sure their energy matches yours and making sure the style of photography matches the feeling you want to feel when you look back on your memories. I keep going back to these photos, and I am quickly transported back to our magical day. When we realized it would be raining on our wedding day, my main concern was what did that mean for our pictures?! But with Samantha behind the camera, I later realized I had nothing to worry about! With her incredible talent, what might have seemed like an unfortunate forecast actually became the backdrop to magical pictures.
