Terrible. Do NOT use cheapshots. We hired them for our wedding, and I could count on one hand the pictures that are actually centred, and we got over 2,000 pictures. I wish I was kidding. The rest are so dark or so bright that you can’t see anything. It could’ve easily been adjusted if they checked the pictures that they took, but nope. We had a ton of family that flew in town specifically for our wedding, and all we can see are their silhouettes in the pictures. We have nothing concrete to remember our special day by. Family and friends have asked us for pictures of our wedding, and we can barely use any of the pictures. Take your business somewhere else. Cheapshots is not worth your time or money.

The photographers we worked with for our wedding were excellent! We had one for engagement photos, and one for the wedding. Both were so lovely and took incredible pictures. The price was good as well. Cheapshots made the process really easy and simple. I feel we made the right choice picking them for our big day.

They did the cutest Santa pictures for my kids this last year. The wait was minimal, the photographer was fantastic with the kids, had lots of cute ideas. The santa was great (wish he looked more real though.. i.e no fake beard) but the set was done so well and very cute. The kids loved the santa and got to tell him their wish list as well. I got all copies of the photos taken. I was pressured into buying more but the options were given. Nice studio, clean, restrooms and play area for the children.

***changed review from 1 star to 3. Owner finally reached out to us. He apologized for our experience and claimed he fired employees. We were given $200 back back from the $800 and an offer to really edit(not just run through a filter) one family photo. We are waiting to see how they create faces that were hidden. Even though the experience can not be rectified, we appreciate that they admitted that what we received was not quality. (We have since paid another photographer for quality photos and for a 1/3 of the price.)
*Update response to owners: The pictures I am referring to and shown here are the edited ones. Yes, the photographer was great to take a bunch of pictures, but still NO family photos that showed all faces. CheapShots did offer to edit the pictures, but then had the photographer contact us. She refused to admit that the lack of seeing faces was a problem. After hearing from the photographer we have not heard anything more about editing picture. NEVER was a reshoot or partial refund offered and we are stilled opened to a solution. The pictures below are posted and protentional clients are welcome to judge the quality, regardless of he said/she said.
Cheap shots does not refer to the amount you pay, but the quality you get. Photographer showed up late and we had to wait around while while she prepped. She never set up the shot.(Apparently if she says "if you can't see me, then I can't see you", but you can see her she doesn't have to tell you she can't see you) Although she took plenty of pictures, but none of the whole family group pictures are usable. When we received the pictures, heads were cut off, more than one or two eyes are closed, edged of backdrop are shown, and people were running into the pictures. The subjects are so close to the edge that you couldn't frame them and the was lighting is so harsh. When asked about the lack of quality she said they were beautiful and we shouldn't judge the unedited ones. We were sent 15 edited pictures that didn't even include all the individual families. If you are not getting large family photos and are able to edit and crop yourself, then CheapShots could be a doable option. As per their request only the "edited" one are judgeable. So, here is what they sent as the "best".

CheapShots did an amazing job for an amazing price! I absolutely love my wedding pictures and they turned out way better than expected. They have flexible packages and they're very good at communication and meeting expectations. They helped us with every step and gave us some beautiful pictures to keep forever.

Our photographer, Kylea, was THE BEST!!! She was so sweet and fun! She captured our wedding perfectly, and was able to get all the shots that we asked for! They also did a great job working with our budget to make sure we could get all the pictures we wanted for the price we could afford. Plus, we got our pictures back before we even got home from the honeymoon! We'll definitely be using CheapShots again!

LOVED Cheapshots!! I was looking for a good newborn photographer and everything in Utah county was so expensive. I finally found cheapshots, not only did they have a great photoshoot, but also I got 30 photos and all the originals. Definitely going with them for future photoshoots. Zero complaints.

So good! So much better than anything we could have expected! Got over 400 shots (and TONS of framable quality ones) in an hour for a family of 5 and that was with a couple of clothing and backdrop changes. Our photographer (wish I could remember her name) was awesome, too! Will definitely be using them again in the near future! A++
