Avion was amazing to work with. I am VERY body insecure and was beyond nervous when I first walked in. Once my hair and makeup were done, we sat down on her couch and we talked. We talked life, love, and what I wanted out of the experience. She made me so comfortable and I was actually able to enjoy the session. It was so powerful and made me rethink who I am and who I want to be. Made me appreciate my body and what it does for me. She was so sweet and patient with me the entire time. My images are beautiful thanks to her and my husband couldn't be happier with his book.

I had the most incredible experience with Avion for my boudoir photo shoot! From the moment I walked in, I felt pampered and Avion made me feel so comfortable even though I was nervous at first. Avion is not only a true professional but also an artist with an amazing eye for detail. She guided me through every pose with such confidence and encouragement, making the entire session feel empowering and fun. The studio itself was beautifully set up, with perfect lighting and a variety of stunning backdrops that made every shot look like it was straight out of a magazine. The hair and makeup artist did such a fantastic job as well. All in all, a 10 out of 10 experience!

I have been a member of her photography group for several years. That group is a safe space and from that I have gained some knowledge and growth as well as seen others do their sessions and heard their reviews/experiences. After going through a really rough couple of years, an opportunity came up for me to do a session with her. It was the first session of this nature I’ve ever done. I’ve seen European art of the women’s physique and wanted to see myself in that way. I went into the session with the mindset of doing it for myself to gain some more confidence in areas in my life that I felt like I was lacking, sharing these with my spouse was a bonus, but not the reason behind doing it.

Avion was easy to converse with and we had talked about what kind of feeling/mood I was wanting to convey in the pictures. To be this vulnerable with someone I had only met a few times in person was hard but before we even started to pose and pic outfits from her client closet (has many styles and sizes in many colors) she asked if there were any special songs or certain music to help. Between the music and the knowledge of what I wanted to do for my photo shoot, Avion was able to pose and position me in the sets in her studio that fit into what I wanted. She comes up with great timeless sets as well as seasonal and more personalized.

She coached me through some moments of hesitation as you do get your inner voice to question what you are doing and wearing in front of a “stranger”. She isn’t a stranger, she interacts with you, asks questions about what look/feel you want, what type of mood, is there any area of your body you are concerned about, what brings you joy and so on. It wasn’t hard to pose in the sets and showed me how to pose if I wasn’t quite there. She helped me breathe through the moments of doubt, directed my gaze and expressions, positioned me to enhance areas I wanted to emphasize and hide the areas I wasn’t keen on.

After the session, I left with a freeing feeling, a sense of accomplishment as I did something out of my comfort zone and a bit more confidence not only mentally but confidence in my physical body.

I was anxious to see the sneak peeks, didn’t have to wait too long. She had those ready within 2-3 weeks after the photoshoot day. It was about a full month later that I got to see the full album of the pictures she captured. From those I was able to pick some images to print and she offers a variety of products you can get.

It was empowering to see myself in those pictures. Some of those pictures, I wasn’t too sure about while taking them, she proved me wrong in those! Those quickly became some of my favorites of the session! Avion shows you as yourself in a new/renewed light. She helped me gain confidence in some areas of my life and shown me I have a beautiful body in all its glory with all that its been through with me.

I can’t wait to book another session with her to see other sides of myself in the pictures she takes. She is an artist and the camera is her medium.

She has a comfortable studio, encourages you to be authentic and will show you what a masterpiece you are in any form of physical ability. Avion captures you and gives you a boost in ways you never know you needed.

Trust the process, what do you have to loose? The negative narrative in your mind? You will not be disappointed if you choose her to take your confidence level up a notch.

Edited to add in a section about her hair and make up team. I know she has several different ones, that day I had Brittany. She was a light and so easy to converse with. We talked while she did my hair and make up like we had known each other for a long time. While I’m usually not one to do my hair let alone make up, the look she put together for me worked for both sides of the look and feel I was going for in my pictures.

Absolutely magical experience! I did a photo shoot for my husbands wedding present. Avion made me feel so comfortable and so beautiful! We even did a part of the session showing vulnerable emotion and capturing all parts of myself. My products are stunning and my husband loved them 🥰

We signed up with Avion for a couples session (after 18 years of marriage) and wasn’t really sure what to expect. I have social anxiety and she made me feel extremely comfortable. The time flew by and we had an amazing time. So much so, I used one of my package “extras” to get a discount on my own personal session. Highly recommend booking a couples session!!
